John Golden Senior Vice President, Education CampusMBA

John Golden is Senior Vice President of Education at the Mortgage Bankers Association where he leads the development and expansion of MBA's education programs under the CampusMBA brand. CampusMBA provides business-aligned, high-impact education products and services for real estate finance organizations and professionals.

Golden joined MBA from Learning Sciences International, a startup company providing professional development products for K-12 educators, where he was vice president of the educational services division and responsible for defining and executing go-to-market strategy. While there, he expanded the company's customer base nationally and internationally from a small regional base.

Golden started his career as a senior technical writer in the Dublin, Ireland, office of Computer Based Training (CBT) Systems. He was later promoted to communications manager and asked to relocate to the U.S. headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif., to manage a hosted Internet-delivered training solution. He later directed a $30 million project to deliver a new Internet-based learning platform and trained more than 1,000 salespeople on the product. He was promoted to director of strategic alliances and then senior director of solutions management.

Golden later joined New Horizons CLC, an IT training company, where he was vice president of products and programs and managed a $32 million business unit responsible for sourcing, building and providing products and services to franchise locations in more than 50 countries. Golden holds a master's degree in communications from Dublin City University and a bachelor's in history and politics from Trinity College in Dublin.
