Today, MBA submitted testimony for the record to the House Small Business Committee for its hearing titled, "The State of
the Nation's Housing Sector: An Examination of the First Time Buyer's Credit and Future Policies to Sustain Recovery." In
its testimony, MBA urges Congress to expand the credit so it is available to all homebuyers, increase the amount to $15,000,
eliminate the income limits and make the credit available to borrowers at the closing table.
